Two cottages on a small farm

2 guests · 1 bedroom · 1 bath · min 2 nights

A small hobby farm at Hilliers, in the trees southwest of Qualicum Beach on the way to the Alberni highway, with two guest cottages let to one couple each. They are named Emmy and Mira for the two horses — a quarter horse and a miniature — who share the paddock with a resident deer or two. Each cottage has a queen bed, a kitchenette with a cook-top and convection oven, a deep soaking tub and a covered deck over the farm. Judy and Mark bring breakfast to the porch: fresh-ground coffee, eggs, cream and warm scones. There is a pond, a fire pit and a hammock, and no fixed schedule to keep.

  • A private cottage for two, with its own kitchenette
  • Deep soaking tub and a covered deck over the paddock
  • Breakfast brought to your porch each morning
  • Horses, a pond and a fire pit on a quiet farm
